Pinion Pine Fire District
NOTICE OF VACANCY ON THE FIRE DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the registered voters and residents of the Pinion Pine Fire Distict, Mohave County, Arizona, that 1 board position is up for election on Nov 3 2026
 

Appointed members will serve until the next general election.

Candidate Qualifications:
Per Arizona Revised Statutes, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a registered voter in the State of Arizona.

  • Must reside within the physical boundaries of the Pinion Pine Fire District for at least 90 days prior to the date of appointment.

Board Member Responsibilities Include:

  • Attending regular monthly board meetings (Held at Station 51, 2836 S DW Ranch Rd)

  • Reviewing and approving the annual District budget, Truth in Taxation hearings, and financial reports.

  • Establishing operational policies and hiring/overseeing the Fire Chief. [1, 2]
     

How to Apply:
Interested and qualified individuals must complete an election canidate packet that can be obtained via the Mohave County Elections Department.

Completed applications and canidate signatures must be provided to the Mohave County Elections Department no later than 120 days prior to the general election, Nov 3, 2026
