It is the mission of the Pinion Pine Fire District to provide the highest standard of service to the residents and visitors of our community through TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL and SKILLED fire and emergency services.

~ About Our District ~

The Pinion Pine Fire District is a combination department roughly 8 miles southeast of Kingman, Az operating out of 2 fire stations, officially covering 22 square miles. The Fire District unofficially covers 40 miles of Interstate 40 to the east county line and 35 miles of Highway 93 south to Wikieup, Az when requested by law enforcement for motor vehicle accidents, vehicle fires and structure fires. The Pinion Pine Fire District is tasked with Zone 6 in the Mohave County Initial Attack System for wildfire responses which encompasses roughly 800 square miles. The Fire District consists of  1 Fire Chief, 1 Asst. Fire Chief, 1 Battalion Chief, 2 Captains, 3 Lieutenants, 2 Engineers and 12 Firefighters and is governed by a 3 person board.

  • Search and Rescue
  • Fuels Management/Homeowner Education

Fire board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Fire Station No. 52 at 7:00 pm.

There are currently no fire restrictions in Mohave County at this time. A burn permit is required for district residents and can be obtained upon request. For information on county burn bans, visit
